What Streamzo is — and just as importantly, what it is not.
A player — nothing more
What Streamzo is
Streamzo is a media-streaming player application. You connect your own streaming service to it using an access code, and Streamzo plays it on your device using your device's own network connection.
Streamzo provides the player software only.
You bring your own service — the access code unlocks the app and points it at the service you are entitled to use.
Playback happens on your device, directly from your provider.
What Streamzo is not
Streamzo hosts no content — no channels, movies, or media of any kind.
Streamzo operates no streaming servers and stores no media.
Streamzo is not a content provider and does not sell, supply, or aggregate media.
There is no download or recording of media in the app — it is a pure player.
All content you see comes entirely from the third-party service you choose to connect. Streamzo has no control over, and no responsibility for, that content.
Privacy
What stays on your device
Your connection details (the service you connect) are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to Streamzo.
What we don't do
Streamzo does not track what you watch, build a viewing profile, or sell your data.
Subtitles
If you turn subtitles on, the app asks Streamzo's subtitle service for subtitles for a title by its name and year only. That service fetches them from public subtitle databases (or generates them) and caches them so everyone benefits. No personal information is involved.
Access codes
An access code is used only to unlock the app and identify the service you're entitled to use. It is not linked to any personal profile.
Terms of use
Use Streamzo only with a streaming service you are legally entitled to access.
Streamzo is provided “as is,” as player software. We are not responsible for the availability, legality, or content of the service you connect.
You are responsible for your own use of the app and your own connection.
